I believe that was the newspapers way of outing him to the larger population.After the newspaper realized what condition his wife Tillie was in ,His time in the limelight as Danny Miller was over.
I also found Tillie's probate records. She died October 28,1918. She left what property she had to her son, Leon Daniel Ferguson. As of yet, I don't know how she died, she was 41 years old at the time of her death. A lot more research left to be done on this.
