Frankly, it is nice that so many of you are enjoying pleasant memories of good eats in Tombstone. The town needs that kind of appreciation. I rarely eat in town, maybe once a year when a friend comes to town, so I shouldn't be shooting off my mouth in such a negative way.
I am probably affected more by the deterioration of the historic presentation of the town and that takes away my enjoyment of anything it has to offer. I find there is less civic and historical pride in the town as each year goes by. It needs to have some kind of control over what is presented to the visitors, like city ordinances that limit the extremes that are going on. Especially as the older ones who still enjoy the history don't get to see much of it being preserved anymore.
But maybe I have been here too long and am getting a little jaded; but I feel they are killing the Goose that laid the golden egg, as my grandma used to say.

Hey, Joyce. I haven't been on the boards until recently, so I missed any announcement about an upcoming book. Sorry to hear that the publication is delayed; there's a lot of that going around, alas. I... more
