The Jackass mail route

In 1857, a year before the massacre at Dragoon Springs, the lone survivor of the massacre, Silas St. John, helped layout and manage the San Antonio to San Diego mail route ( The Jackass mail route).

One of the drivers for the Jackass mail route was Bigfoot Wallace.
