I don’t know that this settles the matter. It does address one issue, that is, that Wyatt’s description of the spring could not be found. There are still many question about his story. And the thought occurs to me that both Tombstone newspapers would have known exactly where the spring was.
If this is to a feature in Wild West, will the alternate views of Steve Gatto and Robert Buckley be sought?
