...I am having a difficult time with Wyatt's exciting descriptions of his amazing adventures.
He describes almost every part of his clothing riddled with buckshot yet does not sustain a flesh wound. On top of that, his horse he claims he is hanging on to does not get splattered with any scattergun residue either! I guess that is because Wyatt protected the horse by spreading his coat out like bat wings!
A shame the 'cowboys' were all such amateurs.
And of course, I have a hard time imagining Wyatt Earp riding out in the desert to camp overnight at Mescal Springs or any other location far from a hotel and saloon.
But we all know what a cynical viewpoint I have. Try to keep a sense of humour.
