Let's take a look at one example of their work as an example of their "dream team" ability.
Albert Billicke testifying about Tom acquiring a gun from a butcher rather than a gun store or the nearby saloon where he checkd his gun.
Defense attorney question: "State if you observed what change if any occurred between the time of his going into the butcher shop and the time of his coming out, with respect to his possession of any arms?"
Billicke's answer: I saw no arms on him, neither when he went into the butcher shop nor when he came out."
The Defense now reminds Billicke of what change he is to testify about."
"What was his (Toms) appearnce when he went in, and what was his appearance when he came out; with respect to the possession of concealed arms?"
"When he went into the butcher shop his right hand pant pocket was flat and appeared as if nothing was in it.
When he cane out, his pants pocket protruded, as if there was a revolver therein."
With 6 OR 8 Prosecuting attorneys not one of them objected to this leading question much less an instruction on how to testify right in the middle of a court case.
This is NOT a Dream Team?
If anyone needs more reasoning on this read the hearing and see all the questions they did not ask when they should have.
Steve, Thank you for that. If Virgil did make the “on sight” comment, all of the following would have to be true: 1 Behan managed to forget the most volatile comment of the day. Either that,... more

Well, I don't know if officer Bronk exaggerated Ike's behaviour or not, but according to Virgil, Bronk seemed a little pre-occupied before he informed Virgil that he was at death's door. This while Bronk... more
