George Bolds and his memory of the Buntline Special

Bob ... found the Daniels book at the bottom of the piles upstairs and spotted one more tome ... there's a George Bolds, George W. Bolds and even "Tom Bold, noted desperado" from a NY paper in one of the books below ... most quotes [and presumably spelling] appear to come from the man himself ... so, who knows? ... Miller & Snell give an official list of officers, including Special (Extra) Policeman William Boles (or Bowles), 1884 ... "Bill Bowles" is from an eyewitness of the St. Clair-Choates shooting in the local papers

As Robert Buckley has proved, with what appear to be correct date of death and his birth in Indiana, there hopefully shouldn't be any more confusion ... and a photo!
