though. (I was waiting for builds to happen at work so I figured I'd try with my local DiscApp environment).

It looks like the the mail client passes the user & hostname to the smtp server and that's failing because my local account on my local computer it's owned by the email address at porkbun.. or something? I had to add the DNS target stuff in Heroku and Porkbun. Maybe that controls ownership?

Failed messages: javax.mail.SendFailedException: Invalid Addresses;
  nested exception is:
        com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPAddressFailedException: 553 5.7.1 <erik@banana3-pc.home>: Sender address rejected: not owned by user

I'm curious if I run it with my new credentials on the production server if I'll get the same error. I would have to swap back and forth just as a test.. .which will cause some down time so I guess I'll have to do this in the middle of the night.

I was really surprised on the price. I guess no one really wants haha. I originally wasn't planning on getting 10 years worth of it, but it was so cheap, I figured why not. then I don't have to worry about it until my mid-40s. Haha

      are coming from a real .com rather than a gmail. Porkbun seems to be pretty cheap on most domains and even on renewal. I haven't found anything better yet (but I only go looking every 7-8 years or so.)
