I've got an Atari 400 that I've never done anything with. Got it at a Thrift Store just before we were to move and never did anything more than turn it on. I should test it and rehome it.

          around here. I'll have to take a look and see all that's there and figure out what the going rate is. Last I knew, it was the computer, some games (like 4), disk drive, and cassette player and cables to hook them up.

            I think the motherboard on those are encased in metal like the 2600s were. Does it weigh a ton? I wonder if shipping might be something crazy high?

              If it's too heavy, I'll put as much that fits into a Priority Mail flat rate box. I think it'll fit. Pirate Ship gives me access to commercial rates, so I can ship it UPS for quite a bit less than retail. (It's free, unlike stamps.com)

        Maybe it's true, where most words require swapping hands to type. That was supposed to give time for the "hammers" to move out of the way as you typed.

          QWERTY was a slower layout for right handed people because the non-dominate hand did most of the keystrokes which kept their WPM down. Being left handed, I guess I got a leg up for once? (unlike scissors or can openers... haha)

            So why don't we switch to something better? Well, I guess it's why I've still got my Yahoo! e-mail address and don't use anything else. It's not THAT bad (actually, it's mostly good in "basic" mode) and I've been using it since before "keyboarding" class in high school.

              when you use them on your left hand instead of your right. I think I might be one of the few people that uses the mouse with their left hand. Buttons are still the "righty" way though.                 dles, right? I tried using the mouse left handed for a while back in high school...                   specific lefty and righty scissors and then the "universal" ones which were just without any molded handle. I probably got used to using the mouse buttons in the "righty" way for a reason like that. My family computer had the mouse on the right as everyone else in my family is right handed. My co... more

        Besides the iPod? They're kinda cool at times. (The Newton was awesome, still is. Android sucks, probably always will. Windows is decent, but it depends on who made your device. Imagine...expandable storage on a tablet.)
