  • Ubuntu 22.04 updates and restarts... - Erik_, Wed Oct 12 2022 4:01pm
This has been starting to bug me a little bit. I've been using Linux for almost 20 years now and ever since upgrading to Ubuntu 22.04 the amount of times I've had to restart my computer due to an update has been more than I'm used to. Which is nice because building from sources only seems to go two ways: Easy 1-2-3 or a long process of installing dependencies and trying to figure out what broke and where. I never tried Rasbian... more
            • Don't Debian and Ubuntu share the same package - Puckdropper, Sun Nov 27 2022 1:25am
system? I'm always surprised when I get an easy 1-2-3 that's not a package. It's so weird. Usually I've found a guide and I'm following it telling me exactly what to type. If there was only a way to put the commands in a text file to be executed in a batch or following a script. (Or Linux, maybe,... more
